| | I have seen her only in television. So when I heard, that Queen Mary 2, the world's largest and most expensive liner had docked on our port, I didn't care about my afternoon nap. I reached home after the day's work, had my lunch and set out to see her. I was little unsure of meeting her because it was said that she would leave in the afternoon. But as I approached the Marine Drive, I saw her. I was like "WOW!" |
The ship's horn honked. "Oh no! She is going to depart!!" And the boat too is going to leave! I managed to board the boat. I had brought my camera to take her pictures. When we were about to reach near to her, she started moving. *3:15 pm* I wanted to take her picture from the front, now that is not possible. Anyways, I got good shots from the side and the back. It felt like I was watching the movie Titanic in real. Thank you Queen Mary 2 for visiting our city, *the only stop on an Indian port* She is now heading to Dubai.
Now Queen Elizabeth 2, one of the world's most famous luxury liners, is also going to dock here this month. Aah! The rendezvous of the Queens with the Queen Of The Arabian Sea.

Don't you wish you could just go on a year long cruise around the world on one of those ships?
Yeah. It would be even better, if that cruise happens with my boyfriend.
