Matt - Oh Boy!

Yesterday I saw Ghost Rider. Superb graphics, I must say. They did a pretty good job with the flame thing. Don't expect everything *actually anything* to make sense. After all, it's a make from the comic. I was pretty disappointed when young Johny became the older version, because that's when they replace Matt Long with Nicolas Cage. Matt is looking so good and I loved his hair style, his soulful eyes, his sweet lips.. aah!! Another guy that caught my eye was the yummy waiter who was pouring wine to Roxanne. You could see his chest hair between the collars. *Naughty me!*

I saw the trailer of Spider-Man 3. This time it's gonna be even more fun than the previous ones since the Spider-Man himself becomes the evil
*that's what I understood from the trailer, don't jump on me if it turned out to be false.* I loved his black spider-costume. James Franco is also in the movie. *Yaay!*

After the movie, when I rode back home I felt like I was the Ghost Rider, burning the tar all along my way. *hehe*

It's The Time To Show-Off

I surprised them! To those who are wondering what the hell I am talking about, this is not at all something serious. It's very rare that I get an occasion to brag and I am trying to make full use of it. *Now don't tell me that I didn't warn you.* Everybody loved my new look. Something that rarely happens. Most often, if I try to do some change on me, it ends up in disaster and had to hear their dissenting remarks. Today, it was completely different. And I ain't trying to do something because I am craving for other's approval. *I don't give a hoot.* I wanted to show myself that I too can look cool, like those guys in the street or at my workplace. What prevented me was the fear of the usual failure. So this time
when I went for shopping, I selected stuffs which my mind told me not to pick. And of course, the star of the day was the shoes! Everybody loved them, it was the only thing I was so sure about. Everyone now wants to know from where I bought them. Well, I had forgotten the shop's name, *yeah, truly!* but I gave them an obscure idea of where it is located. Alright, the bragging ends now.

It's About Dharma In Eklavya

The eyeglasses were ready on Monday itself, but didn't get time to collect it till yesterday. Evening I drove to the city and what a traffic it was! The roads were flooded with vehicles and I had pretty tough time riding my bike. You will never know when the car on the front is gonna apply breaks or some biker is gonna overtake you from the left. Finally I reached the shop and got my eyeglasses. I put it on. Wow! What a difference, everything is so much clearer now, much sharper and colourful. *I looked at the mirror and I liked what I saw.*
I then went to the cinema to see Eklavya - The Royal Guard. This is the fourth Vidhu Vinod Chopra film that I am watching and he hasn't disappointed me till now. With Ekalavya, it is a mixed feeling. Half of the time, I was trying to catch up with the dialogues. My first language is not Hindi. I can understand normally used Hindi words, but not the extreme rhetorical ones. All the actors have shown amazing acting skills, something that Bollywood really lacks. But with such a grand star cast and just 1 hour and 40 minutes of reel length *thank God!*, I feel that the actors didn't get enough exposure, except for Amitabh Bachan and Saif Ali Khan. Vidya Balan once again was at her finest. I especially liked
the part where blind folded Eklavya tests his archery skills and the kite flying scene. The slow soulful melodic song, "Chanda Re" is definitely one of the plus points of the movie.

After the movie, I went to the S Cafe. I ordered a chocolate shake *this place gives me the best chocolate shake in the whole city* and sat in a corner, slowly sipping and checking out the guys. Today, unlike the other times, there weren't that much to drool about. So I started drinking faster. *What's the use sitting there alone, with no eye candy around!* When I was about to finish, this incredibly good looking hunk with muscular arms walks in. He looked at me. Nothing magical happened. *sigh* He took a lemon tea and left the place.

Stuck Between Dream And Reality

The work was extremely tiring today. I came home in the afternoon, had my lunch and went to sleep. After two hours, mother woke me up to go to temple. But I couldn't get up. Father also came and told me to get dressed. Still I wasn't able to bring myself up. I was stuck in between a dream and reality. I was having a vision that I was servicing a customer and my parents were telling me to stop doing that. How could I abandon a customer like that? Let me finish with this customer and I will join my parents to go to the temple. But they kept on calling me. Why don't they understand that I can't leave in the middle of the work like that? Both the images from dream and reality were playing side by side and I
was confused, I didn't know what to do. Finally I forced myself to get up from my bed and walked towards the wash basin, not able to interpret what was happening around me. Cool water splashed on my face and I was completely brought back to the reality.

The Umbrage

He started it. Not today, not yesterday, this had been going on for several weeks now. Until today, I smiled and ignored it, whatever indecency he showed towards me. And he thought I would be tolerating his nonsense forever and a state came where he conceived that he could do or say anything to me. Today morning, when I was reading the paper in the canteen, he just snatched the paper from me with a haughty look. I felt insulted. How dare he invade my personal space like that! But I didn't react thinking not to make a scene in front of everyone. The friend was also with us and he didn't want to get between in this mess, so he continued reading his paper. The haughty guy randomly flipped
through the pages, I was sure he didn't intend to read it. He just wanted to show his domination over me, not allowing me to do what I want. Then came the climax part. He just threw the paper at me and said, "Yeah, now you can read it!"

I felt like I should not allow this to continue. So I snapped back. I told him, "What is your problem. Just because I don't respond to your crap, doesn't mean I will tolerate your nonsense every time. You don't know me guy, you have seen only the nice version of me. Don't just make me show my bad side!"

I could clearly see that he was taken aback by my vehemence. He couldn't find any words to speak back. At last he mustered his courage to say, "Okay... cool down." I felt like saying some more, but didn't want to over do it. The purpose is already fulfilled. I guess, this should take care of him. The rest of day, he hasn't looked at my face.

The friend is now planning to buy K790. It has similar features as that of K750, but the camera is 3 mega pixels instead of 2. That means better clarity. Today I just tried listening to mp3s from K750 and W810. Both were great. The sound clarity of K750 is slightly less compared to the other one, but the sound felt good on the ears. When I tried W810, it was making my ears somewhat uncomfortable.

Today, a funny thing happened at my work. Someone dropped the keyboard and it sounded like the whole computer was crashing down. I got up from my seat and looked towards the direction of the commotion. Everyone on our floor was doing the same and it looked like a bunch of Brachiosaurus were gazing at Dr. Alan Grant and kids. *Remember the scene in Jurassic Park?* And few moments later, I saw a guy looking here and there and then meekly sitting down, embarrassed by the sudden attention he got.

Mobile Dilemma

Today our Team Lead was upset because of the team's performance. This happened due to the carefree attitude of two guys. I don't claim to be the best performer, but at least I try to be one. And the worst part is that they know they are wrong, but won't admit it.

Me and the friend did a little bit of mobile browsing at gsmarena. *Hey! Why is it showing "Access Forbidden!" from my home?* He is looking for a mobile that takes good clarity pictures and K750 is one. K750 looks stunning. I am also planning to take a new one, without burning a hole in my pocket. But I am looking for
sound quality, the one which I can also use as walkman. *I think Sony walkman phones are bit expensive.* The camera quality does not interest me that much, but it would be great if it is bundled with a good camera. Then I don't have the need to carry a separate digital camera.

Don't Want To Be Outed

After yesterday's tiring outing and lack of sleep, I was completely worn out. I kept dozing off during the first two hours. That's when I decided to have a cup of coffee. Usually, it doesn't make much difference to me if I had coffee or not. Luckily, today it worked and I was able to hold up till almost the end of the day's work. I was having a chat with the friend that I mentioned in my earlier post and he told me how he found out porn in a seven year old's computer, a seven year old! And the interesting fact is that the boy didn't have the net connection and he is usually
getting these from his other seven year old friends. While I heard this, my thoughts were not about the decline of ethics in kids. I was thinking what could happen if this guy comes to my home and open my computer. Even if I hide all the gay stuffs to my best of effort, I think he could easily discover them. So I made a mental note to myself - do not ever do the mistake of inviting him to my home.

I am searching for a site where I could download gay-themed movies. *not the porn ones* I am not comfortable in buying them from shops, because I feel that can out me. I found two sources while I was reading forums in guys4men. Cinema G, from where you can download some of the good gay-themed movies. The problem is that they are hosted in rapidshare and I was never able to download anything that is uploaded to that site. The second site founds to be more feasible one, Gaytorrents. The registration is free and once you are in, I suppose *I am not sure because I have not yet registered* you get to download the full movies.

Athirapally Waterfalls

I am so exhausted now. I am slightly drunk. My eyes are not getting focussed and my hands are having difficulty to type what I think. Completely worn out, but still I have to get up at 2 am and go for work. I haven't slept today after the work. I went for a tour to Athirapally with my colleagues. Out team leaders had also come. I was not at all interested to join them. *Who wants to go for site-seeing when you want to sleep?* But I couldn't come up with any good excuse. Now I am glad that I joined them. The traveling was the only unpleasant part. Once I reached the place, the scenery and the waterfall were
magnificent. It is the same place where they shot the video for Kuch Na Kaho, starring Abishek Bachan and Aishwarya Rai. To imagine they danced on those dangerous grounds among the slippery stones and edges of the waterfall is quite unthinkable. I loved the place, it's truly amazing.

Waken

Today the work was boring. Probably because I didn't get enough sleep. At 2 am, I got the call from cab that he is on his way to pick me up for the work. The last two days were offs for me and I enjoyed sleeping without getting buzzed to get ready. Now it's back to the routine of getting up in the middle of the night, the time I usually fall into a deeper sleep. I miss those days when I was able to sleep at night, all seven days of the week.

My Shopping Odyssey

Just back after a major shopping and I am tired. I don't do much shopping, I have an incredible ability to choose the faulty ones among the lot. Also I get so tensed deciding which one should I buy, is it too costly, will I regret buying it after reaching home and like that so many questions will pop up. I dreaded this day, but couldn't procrastinate. I wanted to buy eyeglasses. I tried so many frames, but none suited my face and at last ended up buying a costly one. *Yeah, I also had to acknowledge the fact that they haven't yet come up with a frame that is made for my face.* Eye checking was done and lens measurements were taken. Next mission was to pick out some
jeans and t-shirts. Bought a pair of jeans and cargos. Recently, I noticed that my t-shirts are all fade coloured ones, making me look so dead. I need to add some bright colours in my wardrobe. This time I have bought some really unusual colours. *Now I think there is a chance that people may have a tough time to look directly at me.* Next stop was at the shoe shop. Although initially I was planning to count on the white, then I saw this amazing navy blue and gray combination and it was so comfortable and stylish. It can go very well with my jeans. I had to buy it! Another stop at the Music World and that ended my shopping odyssey. And here I am now blogging it with the hope that you will be able to successfully read till the last word without nodding off. Man! I so want to crash on my bed now. *dzzz..*

The Daily Delete

Today morning when I checked my mail, there they were!! Waiting for me and laughing! Didn't I just delete them yesterday? And the day before that? And the day before day before that? And the day before day before.. *ahem*, I think you got my point. I use that email address for no-nonsense stuffs and I haven't given it to any of my friends nor did I register to any fancy or unwanted sites using that. Ironically, the one with which I do all these, is seeing only few spam mails *very few*. I usually do not open spam mails, but the other day I was tempted to open some of them and they were written in some form of a story-like manner, but didn't make any sense-just garbage of random words.
Today, I also noticed that there is a a direct link *or was I failing to see that link all these times??* called "Sign Up For Gmail", which can mean that you now no longer have to wait for an invite from your friend to own a gmail.

Being Euphoric

Image He asked me, "Are you from India?"

I replied, "Yes, but how did you come to know that?"

"Because India is making such a progress in today's world and Indians are so intelligent."

He brought a smile to my face. Only very rarely I get customers like him who are so patient and co-operative, who treats you like a friend and try to help with the trouble-shooting. That was enough to make my day. I asked him where he was from and he was connected from San Francisco and was 60 years old. I could tell from his conversation that he is really young inside.
The issue with his computer was pretty serious and I so badly wanted to fix it for him. I tried all the possible methods, but it won't just get corrected! I was about to give up all the hope when my friend suggested another method and it worked!! That time, I felt so relieved. I felt like jumping up from my seat and dance. At least, I now know how to resolve similar issues.

Nate Berkus

Image Today on the reruns of Oprah, I saw Nate again. Years before when I saw him, I was astounded by the beauty of this man and even more amazed by his work. I thought, the girl who is gonna marry him would be the luckiest. *He is rich, successful, handsome... what more do you want!* Later, when I was googling I found out that his "partner" was lost in the tsunami of December 2004. *What? Partner?? But I thought he was ..*

I am not a frequent viewer of Oprah. But her shows are one of a kind - evoking compassion, sympathy and humility. *What I do not understand is why the majority of the audience is women.* Today the show was about Nate's return to Sri Lanka for the first time after the tragedy. Nate was explaining why he wished his boyfriend to be
not found again even though he hoped to see him when he reached the island. I didn't quite understand the idea behind that.

The Piscean Soul Cafe

I am exhausted.Yeah, the whole morning I spent thinking about a name. Even when waiting at the barber shop and while he was cutting my hair, this was the one thing that filled my thoughts. A name for my blog. Lot's of words came. Either they sounded too cheap or they were already taken. I glanced through some blogs. Really catchy and creative names. How I wished that I could come up with some thing like that! I just want to put down some small thoughts that occasionally ascends in my mind. Nothing complex, just simple thoughts. They may sometimes make sense or may be nonsense that make sense only to me in some weird way. Ultimately, I came up with this one. I hope it is making some sense to you and not just to me.

A new start. Cheers!
