The Umbrage

He started it. Not today, not yesterday, this had been going on for several weeks now. Until today, I smiled and ignored it, whatever indecency he showed towards me. And he thought I would be tolerating his nonsense forever and a state came where he conceived that he could do or say anything to me. Today morning, when I was reading the paper in the canteen, he just snatched the paper from me with a haughty look. I felt insulted. How dare he invade my personal space like that! But I didn't react thinking not to make a scene in front of everyone. The friend was also with us and he didn't want to get between in this mess, so he continued reading his paper. The haughty guy randomly flipped
through the pages, I was sure he didn't intend to read it. He just wanted to show his domination over me, not allowing me to do what I want. Then came the climax part. He just threw the paper at me and said, "Yeah, now you can read it!"

I felt like I should not allow this to continue. So I snapped back. I told him, "What is your problem. Just because I don't respond to your crap, doesn't mean I will tolerate your nonsense every time. You don't know me guy, you have seen only the nice version of me. Don't just make me show my bad side!"

I could clearly see that he was taken aback by my vehemence. He couldn't find any words to speak back. At last he mustered his courage to say, "Okay... cool down." I felt like saying some more, but didn't want to over do it. The purpose is already fulfilled. I guess, this should take care of him. The rest of day, he hasn't looked at my face.

The friend is now planning to buy K790. It has similar features as that of K750, but the camera is 3 mega pixels instead of 2. That means better clarity. Today I just tried listening to mp3s from K750 and W810. Both were great. The sound clarity of K750 is slightly less compared to the other one, but the sound felt good on the ears. When I tried W810, it was making my ears somewhat uncomfortable.

Today, a funny thing happened at my work. Someone dropped the keyboard and it sounded like the whole computer was crashing down. I got up from my seat and looked towards the direction of the commotion. Everyone on our floor was doing the same and it looked like a bunch of Brachiosaurus were gazing at Dr. Alan Grant and kids. *Remember the scene in Jurassic Park?* And few moments later, I saw a guy looking here and there and then meekly sitting down, embarrassed by the sudden attention he got.
